Are Taylor Swift's Besties Fighting Over Her?

Are Taylor Swift's Besties Fighting Over Her?

Taylor Swift is known for her close relationships with her friends, but now rumors are swirling that Cara Delevingne and Karlie Kloss are fighting over her. However, they're apparently totally false!

The reports claim that Cara makes fun of the "Shake It Off" singer behind her back, and Karlie called her out about it.

“Cara can be extremely two faced, like whenever she sees Taylor she acts like they’re best friends but then behind her back she makes fun of her,” their source said.

“She was all over Taylor at the BRIT Awards even though she always says how boring Taylor is, so Karlie called her out for being a fake and Cara went crazy on her, it got really ugly.”

The model's rep says that they've never gotten into a feud over their mutual friend, which makes us so happy! Of course, we totally didn't believe this would happen. While we would understand Karlie defending her BFF, we've only known Cara to be totally chill and a big fan of the singer. They're all friends!

Google Code is shutting down because everyone loves GitHub

Google Code is shutting down because everyone loves GitHub

Goodbye, Google Code. The technology giant has decided to close its project hosting and code collaboration site because, well, there are simply better alternatives on the web. Google says it launched the platform back in 2006 because it was unhappy with the "limited" options available to the open source community. Since then, the likes of GitHub and Bitbucket have risen to prominence, superseding Google Code's feature set and encouraging developers to transfer their projects. As such, Google's offering has become increasingly filled with spam and abuse, leading to the company's decision to pull the plug. Yesterday it stopped accepting new projects, and on August 24th the site will become read-only. Google Code will eventually be shuttered next January, although tarballs of project source, issues and wikis will continue to be available throughout 2016. If you need to transfer a project, head here for the relevant GitHub and Bitbucket migration tools.

Demi Lovato Was Rushed to the Hospital!

Demi Lovato Was Rushed to the Hospital!

Demi Lovato got rushed to the hospital because of a horrible lung infection! According to TMZ, a friend took her to the emergency room because she was having trouble breathing.
It doesn't sound like she's in serious danger, but her symptoms are flu-related and she had to be put on antibiotics.
Apparently, she even had to cancel a meeting with a major producer yesterday because of her illness. She's temporarily putting her album on hold to focus on her health, which we totally understand.
We hope she gets better soon! That's so scary, but at least she has friends there to take care of her. Lovatics have been tweeting her love with the hashtag #GetWellSoonDemi, and we hope she does!

Is Demi Lovato Getting Back Into Acting?

Is Demi Lovato Getting Back Into Acting?

Demi Lovato hasn't been in a movie since 2010's Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, but she justannounced her next film role! Even though we thought that the star was devoting all her time to singing, the pop star will be voicing the lead character in the animated film, Charmed.
It's follows Cinderella, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty after they all learn that they're engaged to the same Prince Charming.
While we won't get to see her acting chops in real life (oh, how we miss Camp Rock), we're still excited to see her first big role in a while. She's appeared on Glee within the last year or so, but it feels like so long ago!
Maybe she's taking Ariana Grande's lead and easing into more acting gigs with an animated one? The "Break Free" singer made her return with Underdogs, and now she's set to have a recurring role on a new television show called Scream Queens. We would love if Demi did the same!

Did Alex & Sierra Confirm Harry Styles Wrote a Song About Taylor Swift?

Did Alex & Sierra Confirm Harry Styles Wrote a Song About Taylor Swift?

There's been a lot of speculation that Alex & Sierra's song "I Love You" was actually written by Harry Styles, and now the X Factor duo has basically confirmed it. The One Direction singer reportedly wrote the track under a pen name, and while the couple won't spill if Hazza is actually Mick Greenberg, they hinted that the song written about a relationship with Taylor Swift!
“We were told that Mick Greenberg wrote it. That’s what we were told, that’s all we know,” Alex said. "It could be Shaq! We don’t know… Shaquille O’Neil might have written it.”
“Maybe Mick and Taylor are really good friends… Maybe Mick & Taylor had a fling!" they joked.
Based on their reaction, it definitely seems like they don't want to spill that the 1D guy really wrote their song. But they're probably sworn to secrecy!
"I Love You" does seem to have a lot of references to Taylor's music. In one part, the songwriter says, "I won't trouble you no more," seemingly referencing "I Knew You Were Trouble" (which was written about Harry).

5 Seconds Of Summer guitarist says he's "so damn happy" to win Worst Band at NME Awards

5 Seconds Of Summer guitarist says he's "so damn happy" to win Worst Band at NME Awards

Michael Clifford, the guitarist for Sydney pop band 5 Seconds Of Summer, says he's "so damn happy" to win the award for Worst Band at the NME Awards 2015 with Austin, Texas.

Nominees included The 1975, One Direction, U2 and Bastille, but ultimately the readers decided on the relative newcomers, who released their self-titled debut album last year.

On Twitter, Clifford wrote: "Won the NME worst band award. I'm so damn happy right now. thx to everyone who voted." The band also proudly tweeted a link to an article about their 'win', which was shared more than 50,000 times.

The prize was not handed out in person at the ceremony at O2 Academy Brixton last night. Previous winners of the title include The 1975 (2014), One Direction (2012, 2013) and The Jonas Brothers (2009-2011).

Facebook is already making virtual reality apps

Facebook is already making virtual reality apps

Facebook's head of Product, Chris Cox, says the company is already working on making versions of its apps expressly for virtual reality. The explanation, during an interview at CodeMedia, wasn't detailed but touched on the idea of being able to share your own environment with other users - a different way of sharing. "You realize when you're in it, that you're looking at the future, and it's going to be awesome. When you're in Facebook, you're just sending around these bits of experience - a photo, a video, a thought," added Cox. Making good use of that Oculus VR purchase, the product head reminded the audience that VR apps were still a while away, if only due to the fact that headsets are still nascent. Tiny user numbers will be another challenge before Facebook VR gets, literally, in your face.
